This has been such a wonderful year of collaboration amongst the studio and the classrooms to support the children’s ongoing interest in space. On March 24 we will be celebrating our year long investigation with an All school celebration. The children have decided that the studio will be an alien kitchen! Complete with alien food. Which apparently is pizza and the green milkshakes.
The teachers don’t determine all school studies like this. The children’s interest does. How? We pay attention to what their playing, and what they naturally gravitate to. And then we get busy supporting that. It’s truly a beautiful emergent process that I am honored to witness year after year.
I am so grateful to be among this spectacular teaching team who help to make it possible.
